On 1 October 2021, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka was invited from Kitakyushu City Office to join Cultural Exchange Programme with people of Kitakyushu as part of the commemorative activities on the occasion that Kitakyushu City will host the 50th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships and the 38th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships during 18 - 31 October. The competition events will be participated by international gymnasts including Thailand.

During the Cultural Exchange Programme, representative from the Royal Thai Consulate-General held a brief presentation on "Let's know Thailand" to share information about Thailand with its strong and cordial cooperation with Kitakyushu City in various fields especially on Sport, environment, education, culture, and people-to-people contact. Audiences includes students from Sayagatani Elementary School and people of Kitakyushu who are interested about Thailand and willing to join the Thai cheering team at the Gymnastics Competition Events in Kitakyushu this month.
