Please read below information before applying the visa at Royal Thai Consuate-General in Fukuoka 

  • The Consulate-General may require additional documents and reserves the right to reject incomplete visa application.
     
  • The issuance of visa is under the discretion of the Consulate-General. The Consulate-General refuses to explain reason for visa rejection.
     
  • Non-Japanese applicant holding passports of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestinian State, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and Yemen cannot apply for any category of visa at the Royal Thai Consulate-General, unless the applicant acquires permanent residence / mid-to long-term / specific visa to legally reside in Japan.
     
  • Non-Japanese applicant holding passports of Nigerian applicant is required additional document of the Certificate of Clearance which is issued by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The said certificate must be legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria and Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja.***The Consulate-General may require more documents. 
     
  • Foreigners residing in Japan on specific visa such as permanent resident, long term resident, spouse or child of Japanese citizen, or student, are required to submit additional documents for each category of visa.
     
  • Visa issuance process takes at least 3 working days. The applicant is strongly advised to apply for visa ahead of time. We recommend to apply for visa in 3 weeks advance of the departure date.
     
     
  • The Consulate-General may require an interview, please plan your trip with sufficient time for visa processing.
     
  • Fraud or misrepresentation can result in permanent visa ineligibility.
     
  • Visa fee is non-refundable.
     
  • All documents required should be in English or Thai

  • All documents required, except company's registration issued by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand and certificate of marriage, must be issued within three(3) months on the date of visa application.
