Type of Visa

▼Tourist Visa

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for tourism purpose.

▼Transit Visa

✓ To travel in transit through Thailand in order to proceed to the country of destination or to re-enter his/her own country more than 12 hours transit in the airport or less than 12 hours transit, but go through passport control (category "TS")

✓ To participate in sports activities (category “S”

✓ the person in charge or crew of a conveyance coming to a port, station or area in Thailand (Category “C”)

▼Non-Immigrant Visa

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for the following purposes:

Category "B"

To conduct business (including business meeting), to work (as a teacher, a sport coach, art-related performance and entertainment, etc.) to do internship program not by schools/non student (paid), etc.

Category "ED"

To study, to come on a work study tour or observation tour, to participate in projects or seminars, to attend a conference or training course, to do internship program provided by schools (paid/unpaid) ,to do internship program not by schools/non student (unpaid),to study as a foreign Buddhist monk, etc.

Category "RS"

To conduct scientific research or training or teaching in a NRCT (National Research Council of Thailand.

Category "O"

To visit family working in Thailand, visit Thai spouse/children, voluntary job, retirement (with Pension), etc. or to receive medical treatment for more than 60 days

Category "O-A

Applicants must be aged 50 and over who wish to stay in Thailand for an intended period without the intention of working.
